Jorge Ramos is a portuguese motion designer and illustrator. Not just because he was born in Portugal, but also due to the fact he’s a proud owner of a nice moustache. A true Portuguese from Portugal, based in Porto.
He was one of those kids who spent every waking hour drawing, and so, upon discovering the world of animation, the love that would shape his education was born. Studying at Escola Artística Soares dos Reis, Jorge specialised in animation and motion. His unstopabble will to develop his skills led him to the Catholic University of Porto’s School of Arts. When they saw his portfolio they told him - Jorge, this is jolly good stuff. How would you like a Scholarship? - Well, this isn’t really what happened. But what did though, was him majoring in Sound & Image with a specialisation in… you guessed it - animation and motion design. After graduating, he went to work for Lightbox Film & Advertising as a graphic artist.
Three years later he became a freelance motion designer, until now, so he can set our lives in motion through colours, shapes and points of view.
